These Terms and Conditions govern every booking made with Go Xplore Peru (Goxplore Peru EIRL, RUC 20608176196), a tour operator based in Cusco, Perú. By confirming a reservation with us — online, by email, or via WhatsApp — you accept these terms in full.

Reservations & Payment

A deposit is required to confirm your booking; the exact percentage is shown on each tour page or quote. The remaining balance is due before the tour start date, as specified at the time of booking. For reservations made close to the departure date, full payment may be required upfront. Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation terms, refund percentages, and rescheduling conditions are detailed on our Cancellation Policies page, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Group Minimums & Changes

Most tours require a minimum number of participants to operate. If a departure does not reach the minimum, we will offer an alternative date, a different tour, or a full refund. Go Xplore Peru reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, or providers when required by weather, safety, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, while preserving the overall value of the experience booked.

Travel Documents

Travelers are responsible for carrying a valid passport or ID and any visa required for entry into Peru. For treks that require official permits (e.g. the Inca Trail), we need your passport details in advance, exactly as they appear on the document you will travel with — permits cannot be transferred or corrected once issued.

Health, Safety & Altitude

Cusco and most of our tours operate above 3,000 meters (9,800 ft) of altitude. Travelers are responsible for disclosing relevant medical conditions before booking and for consulting a doctor if needed. We reserve the right to adapt or restrict participation for any traveler whose condition poses a risk to their own safety or that of the group.

Traveler Conduct

We expect all travelers to treat guides, staff, local communities, and fellow travelers with respect, and to follow the instructions of our guides at archaeological, natural, and protected sites. Go Xplore Peru reserves the right to remove from a tour, without refund, any participant whose behavior endangers others or seriously disrupts the group.

Liability

Go Xplore Peru acts as a tour operator, coordinating transport, accommodation, guiding, and activities on your behalf. We are not liable for injury, loss, delay, or expense arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, strikes, political unrest, or third-party service failures. We carry liability insurance for our operations in Peru.

Force Majeure

Go Xplore Peru is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control — natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, civil unrest, pandemics, or government-mandated closures. In such cases we will work with you on rescheduling or credit options.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.
