ESNNA stands for the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (Explotación Sexual de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes) — a crime under Peruvian law that the tourism sector has a direct responsibility to help prevent. Go Xplore Peru has adopted this Code of Conduct in line with the standards promoted for Peru’s national travel industry by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR).

Our Commitment

Go Xplore Peru condemns and does not tolerate, facilitate, or turn a blind eye to any form of sexual exploitation of minors, in Peru or anywhere our services operate. This commitment applies to our staff, guides, drivers, and every business we partner with.

What We Do

Staff training: our team is trained to recognize and respond to warning signs of ESNNA and to understand their reporting obligations.
Supplier standards: we expect the hotels, transport companies, and local partners we work with to share this commitment, and we favor providers who do.
Traveler awareness: we inform our clients about this policy and about Peru’s legal framework protecting children.
Zero tolerance: any staff member, guide, or partner found to be involved in or complicit with ESNNA is immediately removed from our operations and reported to the competent authorities.
Cooperation with authorities: we cooperate fully with the Peruvian National Police (PNP), the Public Ministry, and MINCETUR on any case brought to our attention.

How to Report

If you witness or suspect a case of child sexual exploitation involving tourism, report it immediately:

Peruvian National Police (emergency line): 105

Legal Framework

This Code of Conduct is grounded in Peru’s Penal Code provisions against the sexual exploitation of minors and in the national tourism sector’s commitment to child protection, coordinated by MINCETUR. Go Xplore Peru (Goxplore Peru EIRL, RUC 20608176196) applies this code to all tours and services offered under our brand.
